So, the first week back at work and the girls at daycare is going fine. Hadley quite enjoys her baby buddies and is spending lots of time sitting up very well in her Bumbo chair and falling asleep in random spots around the play area. Brooke is learning new words every day - she was trying to say "ponytail" last night. She has also been saying "boo-boo" since she had a 24-hour period where she fell down at home while chasing flies with a flyswatter and opened up a gash above her eye and scraped her face. The next day at school she scraped her knee and then scraped up the area around her OTHER eye (two separate incidents!). Poor thing! She looked tore up. But ever cheerful, scrapes and all.
Wednesday Evening (see, still cheerful!):
It was reported that Brooke was crying on Wednesday morning (she rarely cries) and they took her down the hall to visit Hadley and she was cheerful the rest of the day. She really loves and misses her sister! Lucky little Hadley!
