Berries
Brooke and Hadley LOVE fresh fruit, which we like to get from the local stands. Hadley could not get the raspberries in her mouth fast enough...whole handfuls at a time!

Brooke was eating a strawberry popsicle the other night. Midway through, she asked me for a sandwich. I asked her if she wanted a piece of bread and she said yes. I brought her the bread and she smashed her popsicle in it and made a sandwich. And she ate the entire thing.
Please note Chitty Chitty Bang Bang playing on the TV behind her. This was probably her 5th viewing of the day...she just can't get enough of that movie!

Gussied Up and Shined Up
Here are Blake and I, dressed up and child-free for the evening. Hey, we clean up pretty well! Brian and Kristen had the most beautiful ceremony and celebration. Congrats!

Next morning, Buffalo Wild Wings with Blake's college friends and our girls. I think the rest of the table was grateful when I took them home 20 minutes into brunch...The most grateful person of all? Blake. They are cute as heck, but not much for sitting peacefully at the table and leaving peoples' adult beverages and hot wings alone.

The Shiner:

Hadley has been relatively bruise/scrape free - compared to Brooke "Crash" Swanson. She did trip on a toy Friday afternoon and smash her eyelid up pretty bad. But she is tough, no shiner is going to slow her down.
