1. Brooke has a specific names for each park we go to. There is The Big Kid Park (Imagination Station), The Little Park (the small daycare playground at the high school for the students who have children), The Blue Park (the park in our neighborhood) and The New Park (the park at Blue Lake). She will tell you exactly which one she wants to go to.
2. Hadley can now request a bottle. She woke me up at 3:30 a.m. last night with her sweet voice lilting from her crib asking "Baba? Baba?" She still won't hold it herself, of course.
3. Brooke has taken to using the phrase "Happy Saturday!" as a term of endearment. She hears Blake and I say it to each other in the morning on the weekend.
4. Hadley has become very animated and loud in the last week or two. She chatters about everything!
5. Brooke found an Uncle Scrooge comic in the bookcase and asked me to read it to her - over and over. How do you explain the concept of The Beagle Boys and Uncle Scrooge's Money Bin to a two and a half year old? (Note: This is proof that she is a Bemis. Uncle Scrooge? Already?!)

6. Hadley has five teeth now!
7. We broke down and bought another high chair. My gosh, what an improvement in our lives it is to feed the two of them at once.
8. We made the mistake of putting Brooke's new pairs of Princess underwear on like hats. She now feels this is the appropriate way to wear underwear. The thing is, they actually look really cute on that way!
9. Brooke asked me the other day as we were heading to car in the morning "Mommy, do you have your lunch bag?". Uhhhhhhh? She knows enough to ask me if I remembered my lunch bag in the morning?
10. Hadley typed a facebook status for me. She said:
