Birthday Trip to the Zoo

We had a really nice long weekend. We took a trip to the coast on Saturday, but the photos are at home - will post that tomorrow.

Yesterday was my birthday and I celebrated by taking Brooke to the Zoo and out for a Jamba Juice. It was a gorgeous sunny day once we got away from the 35 mph winds out by our house. Brooke liked the petting zoo and watching all the other kids. She and I shared some crackers and a peanut butter & jelly sandwich on the lawn. Then Blake cooked up some birthday burgers and got a Blizzard treat for my dessert!
