Mommy-Daughter Time

Brooke and I went down to Edgefield this afternoon to walk around, enjoy the sun and see what they had going on for Ocktoberfest while Blake and Hadley watched the Chargers. Brooke found the golf cart and that was the highlight for her! I have been trying to get her to smile for the camera and I also have had her trying to close her eyes. This picture captures her face when she tries to close her eyes. She makes the biggest, cheesiest smile when trying. Look at those teeth, too!

Saucer Sisters

saucer and helping from morgan swanson on Vimeo.

Who is this giant toddler and why is she so sassy?!

Uhhh - who is this grown-up toddler with the sassy 'tude?  Could she bring back my sweet 22 month old, please?

"Climbing" is her new favorite word.

Big Girl Bed - we are not encouraging sleeping in it AT ALL.  We just want to be prepared.

Every little girl dreams of having her very own decoy duck in her changing table....Hello, Dietrich Duck!  (He used to adorn the master suite....)

Brookie wanted to do some "at", but the paper was already covered with my complete artistic repertoire....cat, bird, shapes, names, balloons.  Artiste, Mama is not.

Her favorite aspect of the bed is its use as a teetering platform.

"See, Mama,  I kind of know what I am supposed to do with this!"
